Mr. Shiver has maintained an active litigation and trial practice, as both a defense and plaintiff’s attorney, for 18 years. He has litigated multiple seven and eight-figure cases through trial and appeal, including catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death matters presenting extracontractual risks. He has represented insureds for most major insurance carriers and multiple large private clients. Mr. Shiver has extensive experience in general liability claims, catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury (TBI), bad faith, complex commercial & construction defect litigation.
Mr. Shiver is the proud father of two and is active in Boy Scouts of America/Gulf Stream Counsel as an Assistant Scout Leader. He is a musician & songwriter, and also enjoys designing and building his own future home.
