  • Annette Ferrer is an associate in the South Florida office. She has been practicing law since 2019. She focuses her practice in the areas of general liability, premises liability, construction litigation, and automobile negligence. Ms. Ferrer started her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. As a criminal prosecutor, she honed her trial skills and was a strong advocate for victims in a wide range of cases from misdemeanors to felonies. In 2021, she moved back to her hometown of Miami, FL and started practicing worker’s compensation defense. She represented self-insured employers in all aspects of litigation. 

    Annette received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2018, where she was actively involved in the Cuban American Bar Association and Latino Law Student Association. She was a Certified Legal Intern at the Virgil Hawkins Family Law Clinic and did an externship at the Department of Children and Families General Counsel’s Office while in law school. She also graduated from the University of Florida in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business Administration. She was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority and The Heavener School of Business International Programs Student Ambassadors. 

    In her free time she enjoys travelling, salsa dancing, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She is a proud double Gator and loves to visit Gainesville during football season.
