  • Sharhonda Robinson-Edwards is a Senior Associate based in the firm’s South Florida office. As a successful trial lawyer, she handles cases throughout the State of Florida. Her broad-based experience includes defending commercial disputes and general liability cases for international, national and local enterprises including restaurants, retailers and hospitality industry clients. She has extensive experience representing businesses through all phases of litigation on matters involving claims for premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, negligent security, trucking, transportation, construction and commercial litigation.

    She is licensed to practice in the State of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the State of California and the District of Columbia. Sharhonda is also a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator. She began her career practicing business transactional law with a focus on business entity formation and joint ventures for international clients. Her litigation practice began with PIP (personal injury protection), SIU insurance claims, and Examinations Under Oath. In addition to the above areas of concentration, in her 19 years of legal experience with private firms, court systems, and other corporate entities, Sharhonda has handled wide ranging involving contract law, family law, probate law, Title IX, consumer law, and real estate transactions.

    Sharhonda received her Juris Doctor, from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center with a specialization in International Law while jointly obtaining a Masters in International Business Administration from their Huizenga College of Business. During law school, Sharhonda served as a staff member on the International Citator Journal (an international and comparative law research guide). Sharhonda earned her BA degree in Economics from Howard University with a minor in Japanese and Business. 

    Sharhonda regularly gives back to the community through her involvement with various organizations including the TJ Reddick Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, Miami-Dade Bar Association, Florida Association for Women Lawyers and her sorority, Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
