  • Linda Maloney has extensive experience in complex litigation. She has handled multiple multi-million-dollar lawsuits on behalf of defendants and tried successfully to a defense verdict. Her background includes manufacturers, distributors, installers and other trades in construction litigation, transportation and environmental law. She also has over 30 years of experience in medical malpractice defense including medical malpractice actions involving healthcare professionals and entities and Texas board claims involving physicians, nurses, dentists, psychiatrists, psychologists, chiropractors and acupuncturists. She also has extensive experience in product liability representing healthcare professionals using, prescribing and/or inventing breast implants, Viagra, Fen/Phen, Norplant, Felbatrol, Rezulin, Propulsid, Tegretol and other medical products or devices as well as toxic tort litigation representing entities, agencies, owners, inventors, engineers, manufacturers, installers, and distributors of products such as asbestos, silica, drilling mud, vinyl chloride and benzene. In 2012, Linda concluded twelve years of representation of healthcare professionals and one medical clinic in an angel of death case filed as a 1983 civil rights action involving hundreds of thousands of documents, numerous parties, and the deaths of ten individuals. She has also been involved in other high-profile cases involving healthcare professionals. In addition, Ms. Maloney has extensive experience in construction law and personal injury litigation involving professionals such as contractors, builders, engineers, truck drivers and trucking companies. Her contributing publications include De-Bunk the Junk: Attacking Junk Science, Evidence: Basic Issues and Developing Trends, Evidence: Basic Issues and Developing Trends: Revised, Estate Issues in Survival and Wrongful Death Actions, and Junk Science, and she has spoken at various functions and continuing education seminars. She is currently the supervising partner of two offices: Fort Worth and San Antonio, is involved in firm management, and trains and mentors attorneys and other personnel.
