Biography
Louis B. Imbroto is a Supervising Partner in the firm's Melville, New York office. His practice focuses on insurance defense, municipal litigation, general liability matters, and complex civil litigation. He has extensive experience managing cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, appeals, negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
In addition to his litigation practice, Louis has extensive experience advising governmental entities and organizations on municipal law, zoning and land use matters, regulatory compliance, contracts, and risk management issues. He has represented clients in a broad range of legal matters and has successfully navigated complex legal and operational challenges throughout his career.
Louis earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated in the top 15 percent of his class. During law school, he served as Articles and Symposia Editor of the Journal of Law and Policy and held leadership positions in several student organizations. He received numerous academic honors and scholarships recognizing his excellence in legal studies.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science, cum laude, from Fordham University and is actively involved in professional, civic, and community organizations throughout Long Island. His commitment to public service and leadership has earned him recognition as a Long Island Business News 40 Under 40 honoree and a Huntington Chamber of Commerce 30 Under 30 honoree.
