William (“Bill”) Parks joined MSZL&M after gaining previous litigation experience in the areas of foreclosure, consumer protection, and first party property insurance. He has experience in both state and federal court and has prepared and successfully argued a broad range of motions, including dispositive motions. He also prepared appellate briefs to Florida District Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Bill graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he was one of the top four advocates in the annual First Year Closing Argument Competition. Bill was later selected to be on the Florida Trial Team and the Florida Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, competing in national competitions using both his trial advocacy and negotiation skills. He received his undergraduate education at Towson University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Law and American Civilization and a minor in Business Administration. While at Towson, Bill founded and led the Towson University Mock Trial Team.
Bill is an attorney coach to the King High School Mock Trial Team. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and black lab.
