Saad Malik a life-long Baltimore resident, joined the Maryland office in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Saad clerked for the Honorable Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill, Judge In Charge-Civil, in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. During law school, Saad maximized his opportunities to hone his reading and writing skills, completing a concentration in litigation and advocacy, while gaining diverse legal experience. He worked as a law clerk for multiple Baltimore based law firms and also served as a Rule 19 student attorney in the Mental Health Law Clinic representing patients in involuntary civil commitment hearings at the Sheppard Pratt psychiatric hospital. Despite the heavy workload, Saad maintained active involvement at the school. He served as a member of the University of Baltimore School of Law’s Honor Board and was a teaching assistant for multiple courses. At the conclusion of his law school career, Saad was awarded the Platinum Pro Bono Challenge Award for legal services provided to non-profit and charitable organizations.
In his spare time, Saad enjoys exploring different cuisines, weight lifting, and cheering on his beloved Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. Saad is also an active member of the Islamic Society of Baltimore, having served multiple terms on its leadership council.
