  • Mr. Ostriak is a Philadelphia native with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Temple University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the Temple University School of Law where he served as the Editor of the Political & Civil Rights Law Review and the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. While at Temple Law, Mr. Ostriak clerked for The Hon. Franklin Van Antwerpen in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and worked as a research assistant for the late Prof. Edward Ohlbaum in the production of his work: Ohlbaum on Evidence.

    Mr. Ostriak began his legal career in 1999 as a public defender with the Defender Association of Philadelphia representing indigent defendants in the Philadelphia Criminal Justice System, before opening his own firm in 2002. In the past 20 years Mr. Ostriak has litigated dozens of matters to verdict as first chair in the State and Federal Courts as a criminal defense lawyer, and later for both Plaintiffs and Defendants. He has appeared before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and The Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. Ostriak has litigated matters to verdict as Pro Hac counsel in the State of New Jersey, worked as in-house counsel for national insurance companies Geico and Nationwide, and has represented several self-insured corporations.

    Mr. Ostriak currently focuses his practice in the area of litigation, specifically on casualty claims, contract matters, consumer claims and coverage issues. He is an avid runner who competes annually in the Broad Street Run 10-miler in Philadelphia, and has finished the Philadelphia Marathon twice.
