Rich Chesney joined MSZL&M in 2017 and is involved in the practice of defending individual and corporate clients in all aspects of litigation. Before joining the firm, Mr. Chesney was an associate at a mid-sized law firm in Blue Bell, where he focused his practice on insurance defense, counsel for a small Harrisburg-based car insurance company, an associate in a general liability defense practice in Baldwin, New York, and was a Public Defender in Sanford, Florida.
Mr. Chesney originally hails from Point Lookout, New York, and graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in History, and earned his JD from the Villanova University School of Law. He remains very active with the Villanova alumni community, serving as a board member for the Greater Philadelphia chapter of the Villanova Alumni Club, helping to coordinate the Club’s yearly “Taste of Wine on the Main Line” fundraiser, as well as an active member of the Villanova Singers Legacy, the group’s official alumni association.
He is a resident of Trooper, Pennsylvania with his wife Kelly, and daughters Amanda, Alexandra and Allison. He is long suffering New York Mets, New York Jets and New York Islanders fan, which is more then made up for by his Villanova Wildcats. He enjoys reading and traveling with his family.
