Najla Bubtana has been practicing law since 2012. She is an associate in the firm’s South Florida/Miami office. Prior to joining Mintzer Sarowitz, Najla gained extensive experience representing businesses and individuals in cases involving premises liability, personal injury, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, automobile accidents, negligent security, products liability and civil rights claims. She prides herself on being detailed, thorough, and creative in her defense of each case and works tirelessly to ensure that she is the most prepared attorney in the room at all times. Najla is professional but relentless in her practice and her team-oriented mentality ensures that her clients are constantly informed and involved in each step of the process.
Najla is a first generation American and is the first person in her family to graduate with a professional degree. Early on in life, Najla learned the value of hard work as well as the importance facing adversity and rising to meet every challenge. She grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and an innate desire to pursue what is right. Her passion for advocacy naturally drew her to the legal field where she continues to pursue justice on behalf of her clients each day.
Najla obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from Newberry College in South Carolina, where she graduated summa cum laude. While at Newberry College, Najla was a member and captain of the Newberry College women’s soccer team and an Academic All-American.
Najla received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. During law school, she was a member of the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board and an honors recipient in the Litigation Skills Program. While in law school, she also clerked full-time for a prominent civil litigation firm in the Coral Gables area and was a Certified Legal Intern in the Felony Division of the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.
A Miami Native, Najla is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian. On her own time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing soccer and exercising, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
