Michael Amezaga was born in Cuba and grew up in New York City. Michael was admitted to practice in Florida in 1991 and has tried over 20 cases to jury verdict. His areas of practice include premises liability, negligent security, automobile, civil rights, labor and employment, as well as construction litigation. He is a former assistant city attorney for the City of West Palm Beach where he also served as the police legal advisor while also defending civil rights cases involving city police officers. Michael was the appellate attorney in the published Fourth District Court of Appeal opinion: Sanchez v. City of West Palm Beach. Mr. Amezaga is also admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is fluent in Spanish. In his spare time Michael enjoys spending time with his two sons and playing golf.
