Brigette Perl was born in Tonka Bay, Minnesota but grew up in Florida since she was 7 years old. Brigette received her undergraduate degree at Florida State University (“FSU”) with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology.
Upon graduating from FSU, Brigette obtained her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she was chosen to compete on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. She competed in four competitions throughout her time at Stetson. The competitions consisted of negotiation competitions and mediation competitions.
Brigette gained invaluable courtroom and trial experience after being admitted to the Florida Bar when she served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Brigette prosecuted over 20 jury trials. After serving as a prosecutor, Brigette worked as an Associate Attorney with a reputable civil litigation defense firm in Tampa, Florida focusing on first party property defense and construction defect defense.
In her free time, Brigette enjoys spending time with her family (and two dogs), traveling, and paddle boarding.
