James N.
Zeris
James Zeris was born in New York, New York. He graduated from Christopher
Newport College of the College of William and Mary in 1981 with a degree in
Accounting. Mr. Zeris received his Law Degree in 1984 from the Temple
University School of Law.
Mr. Zeris has extensive trial experience litigating high exposure cases
in the Courts of Pennsylvania and New York. His practice focuses on
Transportation, Products Liability, Civil Rights and Professional
Negligence. He also specializes in the defense of professional liability claims against architects and engineers. Mr. Zeris is a member of the Philadelphia Association of Defense
Counsel, Pennsylvania Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers
Association and the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Zeris is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania
and New York.
Mr.
Zeris is also active as a member of the American Bus Association and the Bus
Industry Safety Council and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance.
Mr. Zeris provides pro bono services on behalf of the firm to the Legal
Clinic for the Disabled, Women Against Abuse and the Senior Citizens Clinic.
He has also lectured and taught law at the Abington Campus of Penn State
University.
