Richard D. Abrams
Mr. Abrams Graduated from Widener University School
of Law in 1991 cum laude and is admitted to practice in Delaware,
Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Abrams represents insurance companies
and self-insured corporations in the defense of claims for personal
injury, property damage and insurance coverage. He has lectured to
insurance companies and provided seminars on claims handling, coverage
issues, trial preparation and alternative dispute resolution. Mr.
Abrams is a charter member of the Delaware State Bar Association's
Section on Alternative Dispute Resolution and is currently serving
his third term as Section Chair. Mr. Abrams was recently appointed
by the Delaware Superior Court to serve on the Select Committee charged
with responsibility for redrafting Delaware's Alternative Dispute
Resolution Rule. Mr. Abrams is also a Superior Court Certified Mediator
