Raul R. Loredo

Mr. Loredo is an associate in the firm's Florida office. He is a first generation Cuban-American born and raised in Florida. After graduating from Miami Senior High, he joined the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Petty Officer First Class in the submarine forces. Thereafter, Mr. Loredo attended medical school for two years at the University of Honduras, in Tegucigalpa. After attending medical school, Mr. Loredo relocated to the Caribbean where he became an entrepreneur, opening his own dive store business where he offered a wide variety of activities including educational and instructional services as an accomplished diver and instructor trainer. Thereafter, Mr. Loredo returned to the States where he completed his studies.

Mr. Loredo graduated from Florida International University in 1995 with a degree in Psychology. He attended and graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2001. While a law student, Mr. Loredo served as an Associate Justice for the Honor Court and as Chief Advocate for the Moot Court Executive Board. He was a member of the Moot Court Advocacy Team and is named in the 2001 edition of Who’s Who in Legal Studies. Mr. Loredo holds a Masters in Psychology from California Coast University and a Doctorate in Human Resources Management from Columbus University.

After law school, Mr. Loredo began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, in Brevard County, Florida where he was a supervising attorney for four misdemeanor divisions. From there, he entered the realm of private practice at the law firm of Wicker Smith O’Hare and Ford in Miami, Florida where he represented defendants in the areas of Premises Liability, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Dental Malpractice, Professional Negligence, and Nursing Home Negligence. Mr. Loredo is experienced in the areas of Maritime Law, Municipal Law and in the representation of physicians and nurses in Administrative Hearing proceedings in front of the Board regulating each profession. He has tried a numerous cases to verdict.

In 2007, Mr. Loredo joined the Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers firm in its Florida office, where he continues to practice in the fields of general liability, premises liability and professional liability. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
