MSZL&M OPENS NEW OFFICE ON LONG ISLAND Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers is proud to announce the opening of a new office in Hicksville, Nassau County, New York. The new location opened this summer with an initial complement of four attorneys, as well as several support staff. MSZL&M hopes to double the number of attorneys in the office in the next 6 months. The attorneys are Bradley J. Levien, Marc D. Sloane, Ellen Zweig, and new addition Catherine Carlson. The 7,200 square foot office is located close to many of the major county, state and federal courthouses on the island. The office is also only 45 minutes by train to Manhattan and Brooklyn, making it easy for our attorneys, clients and witnesses to travel to and from the city for important meetings and hearings. The Long Island attorneys will focus primarily on cases in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Counties. Our attorneys are all very familiar with the Long Island courts and judges. All four attorneys live on Long Island, making them familiar with the jury pool and providing them an advantage over attorneys who are not familiar with the area and the residents. Each of the attorneys has practiced in the area for at least five years. Ellen Zweig was a senior trial attorney in Queens County at a private firm before joining MSZL&M. Marc D. Sloane and Catherine Carlson both recently worked for other Long Island firms. Mr. Sloane has regularly handled Nassau, Suffolk and Queens cases and Ms. Carlson focused her practice in Suffolk County. Bradley J. Levien has been based in Manhattan, but has attended court primarily in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Counties for the last 5 years. Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers feels that the Long Island office will increase the firms’ presence and reach in the state of New York, especially compared to firms without a Long Island location. The new office is located at 25 Newbridge Road, Suite 200, Hicksville, New York 11801. The office can be reached by telephone at 516.939.9200, by fax at 516.939.9201 or by e-mailing Bradley J. Levien at blevien@defensecounsel.com. |
