Bradley J. Levien

Bradley J. Levien was born is Nassau County, New York. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1992, having completed a double major in Economics and Philosophy.  He received his Law Degree from the Boston University School of Law in 1995. While at B.U., Mr. Levien was trained in a clinical litigation program, served on numerous advisory committees, and completed a research project and thesis on the then-ongoing labor troubles plaguing major league baseball.

     Mr. Levien began his legal career in the Town Attorney's Office for the Town of Hempstead. He handled both litigation and transactional files before moving into private practice to concentrate on litigation defense.

     Mr. Levien has been practicing in the areas of insurance and liability defense since 1995.  In that time, he has handled all types of tort defense matters at all phases for both insurance companies and self-insureds and has produced numerous favorable verdicts. Mr. Levien's general liability experience includes the defense of property owners from both personal injury and property damage claims; defense of construction-site and Labor Law cases; products liability; and automobile liability defense. He has taken favorable verdicts as well as practiced on the appellate level in a great variety of negligence defense cases. Mr. Levien also specializes in the prosecution and defense of coverage disputes and has litigated many such cases involving indemnification agreements and additional insured clauses, as well as auto-related cases involving No-Fault and Uninsured Motorist disputes.

     Mr. Levien is admitted to practice law in the State of New York (1996) and in the Federal Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (2001). He also practices before numerous Alternative Dispute Resolution forums.

     Mr. Levien manages the Long Island office in New York.
