Stephen Ledva, Jr.
Stephen Ledva, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from
the University of Dayton in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Mr. Ledva moved to Houston, Texas, where he worked in the insurance
industry as a claims adjuster. He then returned to Dayton and received his
Law Degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1984.
Mr. Ledva was trial counsel with the in-house counsel staff of a major
insurance carrier from 1985 through 1989. He joined the firm in 1989 and was
the supervising attorney in the firm's newly established New Jersey office
from 1990 through 1994. Mr. Ledva continues to actively practice in both
Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mr. Ledva is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania
and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice before the Third Circuit
Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern District
of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Ledva is an active member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and
Philadelphia Bar Associations, the Workers' Compensation Sections of the
state and local Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Claims Association, the
Philadelphia Workers' Compensation Claims Association and the Defense
Research Institute.
Mr. Ledva focuses his practice on Commercial Litigation, Workers'
Compensation, Employment and Disability Litigation, General Liability, Civil
Rights Litigation and Food Manufacturing and Processing Liability.
Mr. Ledva is active in his community through pro bono representation
and volunteer activities including ALS, Philadelphia Senior Center and
coaching CYO football. |
