John Goran
John J. Goran joined Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers in 2011. Prior to joining the firm as a partner, Mr. Goran worked at another statewide law firm litigating matters relating to medical malpractice, general liability, products liability, vertical litigation, automobile negligence, and trucking litigation, among others. Many of his clients include large companies, insurance companies, as well as, medical professionals throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Goran is admitted to practice in the state of Florida. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Goran is also active in the Florida Bar, as well as, the Dade County Bar Association. Previously, he was a member of the Florida Medical Malpractice Claims Counsel, as well as, the American Society for Healthcare of Risk Management. In 2004, he was appointed by the Miami Dade County Commissioners as a member of the Miami-Dade County Educational Facility Authority. The Authority is authorized and empowered to issue its revenue bonds for the purpose of assisting institutions for higher education in the construction, financing, and refinancing of Projects, as defined by Florida Law, and which oversees funding for educational institutions within the county. Mr. Goran is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell. Rated the highest possible rating, he has held this distinction since 2006. He has also been recognized by the South Florida Legal Guide as a "Top Up-and-Comer" for the years 2006 to 2010 before being designated by that periodical as a "Top Lawyer" in 2011.
