Brian A. Eves Brian A. Eves was born in Staten Island, New York and raised in South Florida. He graduated high school from Princeton Christian School in Miami and went on to attend Saint Leo University. While at Saint Leo, Mr. Eves was awarded Outstanding Student in Criminology and was member of the student government and the Honors Society. He graduated sum cum laude with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. After working in law enforcement Mr. Eves decided to further his legal career by attending the Fredric G. Levin School of Law at the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, Mr. Eves was a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Department, as well as a research assistant for Dean Jon Mills. Brian also had the distinction of joining the Jessup Moot Court team, first as a competition team member and then as a team captain. During law school, Mr. Eves volunteered at Three Rivers Legal Services helping to provide legal services and instructional material to the indigent. Mr. Eves then worked as a judicial intern in the Eighth Judicial Circuit, assisting the judges with court memoranda and post-judgment motions. Mr. Eves also clerked at two different law firms specializing in personal injury law and other civil law matters. Mr. Eves has experience working for a firm representing large banking institutions in creditor’s rights matters, and for a firm specializing in insurance defense matters. Mr. Eves joined Mintzer, Sarowitz, Zeris, Ledva & Meyers in 2011 and specializes in civil litigation, premises liability, construction defect, and other civil matters. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar Association and Broward County Bar Association. |
