| Barbara S. Diamond
Barbara S. Diamond was born in New York City. She attended undergraduate school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and New York University. Ms. Diamond also received a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration from Florida International University, where she was elected to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a medical technologist, both at Bellevue Hospital in New York, and at Cedars Medical Center in Miami. Ms. Diamond received her law degree from the University of Miami in 1998, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was on the Editorial Board of the University of Miami Law Review, and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Diamond is admitted to the state and federal courts of Florida, where she practices in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Litigation, and General Liability Defense. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Dade County Defense Bar Association. Ms. Diamond successfully argued before the Third District Court of Appeal in Largie v. Gregorian, a case involving the sufficiency of a presuit expert affidavit in a medical negligence claim. |
