David R. Bolen, Esq.
Mr. Bolen was born in El Paso, Texas. He received an Associate of Science in Legal Assisting in 1996, a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida International University in 1998, and Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001.
He was a recipient of the James Weldon Johnson Fellowship at the University of Miami, and was actively involved with the University of Miami’s equity theater. Through a University of Miami volunteer workshop, he became involved in mentoring underachieving grade school students in the Miami area, and continues with that work today.
Mr. Bolen is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Since his graduation, Mr. Bolen has exclusively practiced in the areas of insurance defense, and construction litigation. He also specializes in the defense of professional liability claims against architects and engineers. He has been lead counsel in several bench trials involving property damage and injunctive relief, and has sat second-chair in premise liability, and personal injury jury trials He has drafted appellate briefs, and presented oral argument before the Third District Court of Appeal.
