David S. Cohen
David S. Cohen was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelors Degree in History from the University of Delaware in 1988. Mr. Cohen earned his Law Degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1991.
Mr. Cohen joined Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva and Meyers in 1992 as an associate in the Philadelphia office. He was elected partner in 2002. Mr. Cohen specializes in the defense of professional liability claims against doctors, dentists, attorneys, insurance brokers, architects and engineers. He also maintains an active practice defending Workers' Compensation claims against employers.
Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Mr. Cohen is an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the National Council of Self Insurers (NCSI), the Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS), the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
