John C. Bobber
John C. Bobber was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University in 1993. Mr. Bobber received his Law Degree from Widener University School of Law in 1997. Mr. Bobber is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania. He practices in the areas of Employment Litigation, Premises Liability, and Motor Vehicle Dealership Litigation. Mr. Bobber has acted as first chair trial counsel for jury and bench trials in federal and state court in Pennsylvania and New Jersey on cases involving discrimination claims, commercial and consumer fraud litigation, personal injury and motor vehicle claims, motor vehicle dealership litigation and general insurance defense. He has represented employers in human resources and employment issues, including discrimination, harassment and wrongful discharge matters at all stages, including matters pending before the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission; the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations; and in Pennsylvania state and federal courts. Mr. Bobber has counseled employers in the creation and application of workplace policies, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, wage and hour, and EEO policies. Mr. Bobber is CoVice-Chair of the firm’s eDiscovery group where he brings extensive legal and technical expertise in working with IT professionals, client department heads, and in-house counsel in consulting and advising on how to manage eDiscovery issues and prepare data for litigation. He assists clients in the implementation of data retention and preservation programs, security, e-mail usage, and collection and spoliation issues.
