Henry J. Achiron
Henry J. Achiron graduated from Brooklyn College with a
degree in elementary education. After graduation he taught elementary school
in Brooklyn and obtained a Master's Degree from Long Island University.
While still teaching, Mr. Achiron attended Brooklyn Law School and received
his Law Degree cum laude in 1983. Mr. Achiron then joined the law firm of
Langan & Levy, counsel to the Hartford Insurance Company, as Trial Counsel.
Mr. Achiron joined the law firm of Stockfield & Fixler as Senior Trial
Counsel and went on to become managing attorney in 1986. He joined the law
firm of Lawlor & Caulfield, counsel to the Travelers Insurance Company, as
Senior Counsel n 1988. Mr. Achiron joined the Robert Plan Corporation as
Managing Trial Attorney of Record. He then became Vice President and
Corporate Counsel responsible for the creation and development of in-house
corporate counsel for the parent and subsidiaries of the $300 million
insurance service firm in 1990.
Mr. Achiron joined the law firm of Kelly & McGlynn, counsel to Crum &
Forster Insurance Group, as senior trial counsel in 1993. He joined the law
firm of Kevin L. Kelly, counsel to the Empire Insurance Company, as Senior
Trial Attorney in 1999. In this capacity, Mr. Achiron handled catastrophic
injury cases and supervised a staff of attorneys.
Mr. Achiron joined Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva
and Meyers as Senior Litigation Counsel in 2001. His areas of practice
include General Liability, Motor Vehicle Liability, Construction and Labor
Law. Mr. Achiron is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of
New York and the United States Supreme Court. |
